Be Unstoppable and Show Up to Your Goals
I'm no longer in a place where I can afford to complain, to get angry, or to continue filling my life with victim-based statements. Is this you, too?
I'm at a point where I experience and create momentum, where I take action, and propel myself forward. On a daily basis, I challenge myself to move past anger, fear, and disappointment. Is this where you want to be?
Listen, I'll be honest with you: it's not that life doesn't cut me with hurtful, frustrating moments. I know I'm not alone when I say that 2018 has been a heavy year shaped by loss and heartbreak.
I am human, and I still get tangled in my insecurities and mini-dramas...but these things no longer play an active role in designing my life.
I design my life.
Those feelings no longer decide whether or not I show up for my goals.
I decide to show up for my goals.
I very much want you to understand something: there is nothing worse than the feeling of being stuck. There is nothing worse than knowing that you deserve and desire something so much better, and yet not achieving it because you've fallen stuck in an imaginary tangle of excuses and fears.
At this moment, the pain of being stuck is so much deeper than the growing pains of moving forward.
Girlfriend, making progress isn't sexy or dazzling or quick. Progressing on your path is a continuous cycle of mini-failures, upsets, and re-fuels.
What keeps me going always is a passion and desire; a belief in who I am, what I'm meant to do, and the women I'm meant to help.
It's my eternal desire for a beautiful life that awakens my passion and my commitment daily: this is how I show up and step up.
I'm not just trying to tell you to embrace the struggle--the struggle is there whether you want it or not; I'm here to tell you to embrace your desire for the passionate life of your dreams. That desire will awaken the unstoppable within you.
We all have a different idea of what a "better life" looks like, but the feeling that life represents is the same: empowered, passionate...and unstoppable force.
I see so many people around me get the things I want. And maybe they're less qualified; maybe they're less "deserving" (one of my limiting beliefs, by the way), and it all boils down to one question: why not me, too?
Why not you, too?
You see, I've often not gotten the things that I so badly wanted because I was too scared to show up and take hold of what I wanted.
Girl, I'm just letting you know: we need to step it up. We need to stop putting our goals on hold and show up daily, accepting the failures, and getting hooked on the belief that what we want is ours, no questions asked.
Write your goals, acknowledge your fears and obstacles, call them out, and take action.
